What Causes An INFJ To Have Sense Of Humor Failure?

There are lots of things that can cause me to temporarily lose my sense of humor.

But it always comes back relatively fast.

Narcissistic Abuse, however, caused me to lose my sense of humor for a long time.

So long that I completely forgot how to laugh.

I wasn’t consciously aware that it had happened until after my marriage to a Malignant Narcissist ended.

Even then, it was a few months after going No Contact before I realized I hadn’t laughed in quite a while.

And that I really missed it.

I wanted to be happy again, and to find humor in life.

But it wasn’t as easy to regain my ability to laugh as I thought it would be.

Once I finally had it back, I swore I’d never allow anyone or anything to rob me of my sense of humor again.

Now I make it a point to laugh as often as possible.

And I treasure every single giggle.
